From July 13 through August 22, 2022 the International Conducting Workshop and Festival will present TWO workshops in Lviv, Ukraine in partnership with the Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, each workshop will be followed by two concerts during which eight conducting participants will lead works from the workshop in public performances. The workshops will focus on varied repertoire and will be led again by Larry Rachleff, Director of Orchestra at the Rice Shepherd School, and Don Schleicher, Resident Conductor at Rice Shepherd School and Professor Emeritus Univerity of Illinois. They will be assisted by Benjamin Loeb (ICWF Artistic Director). Michael Sheppard and Russell Miller will be the workshop pianists. Susan Dunn will lead Stage Presence classes. New this year, Susan will lead two intensive, three-day Stage Presence courses, July 13-15 and August 1-3, and Benjamin Loeb will offer two Fundamentals of Conducting and Score Study courses concurrently.
